Job summary

Black & Grey HR, in partnership with a Tier 1 contracting organization in the UAE, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for major high-rise construction projects. You will oversee electrical engineering activities, coordinate with consultants, architects, and MEP teams, and drive successful execution from design through completion.

You will lead site electrical execution, review drawings, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with planning and procurement to meet schedules and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–15 years of experience with reputed contracting companies.
• Experience on high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and MEP coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with BIM/Revit is a plus.
• Excellent coordination and communication with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical engineering activities across high-rise construction projects.
• Examine electrical layouts, technical drawings, and engineering documents to ensure alignment with project standards and regulations.
• Coordinate closely with consultants, architects, MEP teams, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure seamless workflow and execution.
• Manage site execution for electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, ELV, and associated services.
• Support construction teams by addressing technical concerns and resolving engineering challenges on-site.i>
• Review shop drawings, technical submissions, material approvals, and method statements related to electrical works.
• Ensure all installations comply with local authority regulations, project specifications, and safety requirements.
• Work alongside planning and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
• Track construction progress and provide technical guidance to ensure activities are completed within scheduled timelines.
• Maintain proper records of inspections, approvals, reports, and project-related documentation.

Requirements
