Job summary

Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading UAE contracting company to hire a Junior Electrical Engineer for high-rise projects in Dubai. You will support the electrical team with site execution, coordination, documentation, and project monitoring activities.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and 3–8 years of contracting experience, with AutoCAD proficiency and familiarity with BIM/Revit considered advantages. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• 3–8 years of experience with contracting companies.
• Experience on high-rise building projects is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and MEP coordination is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Familiarity with BIM/Revit is an added advantage.
• Good technical understanding and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising electrical works at project sites.
• Support the review of electrical drawings, technical documents, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants for smooth project execution.
• Monitor installation activities related to lighting, power, fire alarm, and ELV systems.
• Assist in resolving basic technical and site-related issues.
• Ensure electrical works are carried out as per approved drawings and safety standards.
• Support material inspections, technical submissions, and documentation activities.
• Maintain daily progress reports and project records.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure proper execution and integration of services.
