Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Dubai is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and prepare technical electrical documents, coordinate with various teams, and manage supplier communications. Candidates should be experienced in electrical design and familiar with industrial applications, particularly in water/wastewater sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare electrical technical submittals including diagrams and BOQs.
• Prepare electrical test forms for various testing procedures.
• Prepare the electrical part of the Operation and Maintenance Manual.
• Coordinate with other teams for electrical design preparation.
• Support operational and proposal teams as needed.
• Send RFQs to suppliers and follow-up on negotiations.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Designing and preparing electrical technical submittals including but not limited to: Single Line Diagrams, Schematic Diagrams for Panels (MCC, MDB, SMDB, DB...etc), BOQs, Cables sizing, Cable Lists, Load Schedules, Layouts, lighting and small power, Earthing & Lightening, Electrical Shop Drawings.„etc.
• Preparing all the electrical test forms including but not limited to: FAT, SAT, Megger Test, Continuety and Loop Test, Functional Test, Earthing Test„.etc.
• Preparing the electrical part of the Operation and Maintenance Manual (OMM).
• Coordination with Process, Mechanical, Instrument, Automation and Draftsmen in preparing the electrical design.
• Support the Proposal Team, Production Team and Operation Team.
• Sending RFQs to suppliers for Electrical work and follow‑up for all the coordination’s, negotiations, technical meetings...etc.
• Preferable to have Water/Waste water experience of any other industrial application dealing
