Silver Coast Construction & Boring (SCCB), founded in Abu Dhabi in 1997, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical power and ELV systems on complex construction projects, with emphasis on on-site execution and coordination.

The ideal candidate has 12–15 years of electrical engineering experience in construction, strong knowledge of power distribution, and familiarity with data center environments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Experience of 12–15 years in electrical engineering within construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution and ELV systems.
• Hands-on site experience in installation, execution, supervision, testing and commissioning.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, specs, submittals, and technical docs.
• Experience coordinating with MEP teams, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Familiar with electrical standards, quality requirements and site safety.
• Strong analytical, communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage site activities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and MS Office.
• Data Center construction experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Review electrical drawings, specs and project docs for compliance.
• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of electrical power and ELV systems.
• Provide technical guidance to site engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Monitor site activities to ensure work aligns with drawings, specs and schedules.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical and MEP teams to resolve clashes.
• Review submittals, method statements and inspection requests.
• Conduct site inspections ensuring safety and quality compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and management teams on issues.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely execution of electrical works.
• Supervise testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and handover of systems.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, codes and authority requirements.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain site documentation.

We are currently seeking an experienced and technically proficient Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical power systems, ELV systems, and on-site execution within construction projects. Experience in Data Center projects will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Supervise and coordinate the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical power and ELV systems.
• Provide technical guidance and support to site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor site activities to ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other MEP teams to resolve technical issues and avoid clashes.
• Review material submittals, technical submissions, method statements, and inspection requests.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with approved designs, safety requirements, and quality procedures.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project management teams to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely execution of electrical works in line with project milestones.
• Supervise testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and handover of electrical and ELV systems.
• Ensure proper implementation of project specifications, applicable electrical codes, and relevant authority requirements.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and project documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in electrical engineering within construction projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical power distribution systems and ELV systems.
• Proven hands-on site experience in electrical installation, execution, supervision, testing, and commissioning.
• Good understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Experience in coordinating with MEP teams, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Knowledge of applicable electrical standards, quality requirements, and site safety procedures.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage site activities, meet project deadlines, and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in Data Center construction projects will be an added advantage.
