Job summary

Bureau Veritas | Marine & Offshore in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Inspector - E&I with extensive Oil & Gas experience to oversee inspection of electrical and instrumentation systems, switchgear and control equipment across brownfield and new projects.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and at least 10 years in inspections, with strong EPC/ Vendor coordination during FAT and SAT, and fluency in English. Permanent, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering/Instrumentation or Control Engineering
10+ years in Oil & Gas as inspector for power distribution systems
Fluency in English

Responsibilities

Attendance at inspections with client and EPC contractor representatives for high/low voltage power distribution and instrument installations.
Prepare/review method statements and ITPs with QA/QC and Project Engineers.
Prepare QA/QC reports on inspections, materials and nonconformance issues.
Verify corrective actions are carried out.
Check drawings and docs for approval status and project compliance.
Function test of control valves, SDV/ESDV, and equipment calibration.
