AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer to lead electrical infrastructure design for GCC projects. You will support multi-disciplinary teams on power distribution, substations, street lighting, and telecom networks, leveraging ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and BIM tools.

The role requires a strong track record in electrical design, team leadership, and clear technical communication, with a focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10+ years of design experience in a similar role/project.
• Experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Dialux, Revit/BIM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Report on project performance.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and promote a strong HSE culture.
• Assist in developing a motivated team and opportunities for individuals.

Overview

The AtkinsRéalis Infrastructure Business is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, self-starter to join our Abu Dhabi office as a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer. The Engineer will support infrastructure multi-disciplinary projects for clients in GCC, including planning, designing and engineering related to dry utilities networks which may be comprised of power (MV/LV), substations, electrical networks, renewable energy resources, street lighting, telecommunication, etc

Your role

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• The potential candidate has a minimum of 10+ years of design experience in a similar role/project.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong technical writing and communications skills. Experience and familiarity with the following programs are a plus: ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Dialux Software, Revit/BIM experience.

• Ability to process paper/electronic documents and utilize computer equipment; ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing; ability to visit project sites if necessary.
