AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer to design, plan and support electrical utilities networks for GCC projects, including MV/LV, substations, street lighting and telecoms. Strong writing and communication skills are essential.

You will provide technical support across multi-disciplinary infrastructure, ensure health & safety compliance, and lead a team through tender to delivery. BSc in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of design experience are required.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of design experience in infrastructure projects.
• Excellent interpersonal, technical writing and communication skills.
• Experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Dialux or Revit/BIM is a plus.
• Ability to visit project sites and work in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Technical support on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects delivery.
• Report on project performance and ensure HS&E compliance.
• Develop motivated, high-performing team skills and mentorship.

Overview

The AtkinsRéalis Infrastructure Business is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, self-starter to join our Abu Dhabi office as a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer. The Engineer will support infrastructure multi-disciplinary projects for clients in GCC, including planning, designing and engineering related to dry utilities networks which may be comprised of power (MV/LV), substations, electrical networks, renewable energy resources, street lighting, telecommunication, etc

Your role

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• The potential candidate has a minimum of 10+ years of design experience in a similar role/project.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong technical writing and communications skills. Experience and familiarity with the following programs are a plus: ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Dialux Software, Revit/BIM experience.

• Ability to process paper/electronic documents and utilize computer equipment; ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing; ability to visit project sites if necessary.
