Job summary

TalentOne seeks an experienced Senior Draftsman with extensive UAE construction experience to prepare accurate shop drawings, coordination drawings, structural steel drawings, reinforcement detailing, and as-built documentation.

The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers, consultants, architects, and site teams to ensure all drawings meet project specifications, consultant requirements, and UAE authority standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years UAE construction experience.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or drafting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, construction drawings, and coordination drawings.
• Develop structural steel fabrication and erection drawings.
• Prepare reinforcement detailing (rebar drawings) as per approved structural designs.
• Produce MEP coordination drawings to support multidisciplinary project execution.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Design Consultants, Architects, and Site Engineers to resolve drawing discrepancies.
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments, design changes, RFIs, and site requirements.
• Prepare accurate as-built drawings for project handover.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision logs, document control, and drawing archives.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, consultant requirements, UAE authority regulations, and company drafting standards.
• Support project teams throughout construction until final handover.

Education

Diploma/bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or Drafting
