Job summary

ADIB Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Officer in Compliance & Assurance to strengthen the Cyber Defense Center within GISD. You will monitor Data Loss Prevention events, validate incidents at L2, and support governance and assurance activities to uphold ADIB's information security and data protection goals.

The role requires escalation of true-positive incidents to relevant teams, coordination across IT, Legal, Privacy and Fraud Investigation departments, and ongoing improvement of DLP

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in DLP monitoring, incident analysis, governance and control assurance.
• In-depth understanding of data leakage risks across endpoints, networks, email, cloud platforms and removable media.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and banking privacy standards, including UAE regs.
• Hands-on experience with DLP/SIEM technologies and reporting.
• Experience with governance, risk, and compliance platforms.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze and investigate DLP alerts to identify data leakage, policy violations and security risks.
• Perform L2 validation of incidents, ensuring accurate classification and evidence collection.
• Escalate true positives to Security Incident Response and other teams per procedures.
• Coordinate investigations and remediation with IT, Legal, Privacy and business units.
• Develop and maintain DLP dashboards, metrics and reporting for management.
• Lead ongoing policy tuning, rule optimization and control enhancements.
