Job summary

Abu Adel Heavy Equipment is seeking a technically skilled Die Casting Engineer | Metal Forming Specialist to oversee metal casting processes and improve manufacturing performance. You will support the production of high-quality metal components, focusing on die casting operations, tooling optimization, troubleshooting, and quality control.

Qualifications

• Background in Materials/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• Knowledge of die casting, metal forming, casting processes and industrial methods.
• Understanding of metal alloys, material properties, heat treatment and metallurgical principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and optimize die casting and metal forming processes for industrial production.
• Oversee casting operations with aluminum, zinc, magnesium, and other alloys.
• Review designs, tooling specs, and casting requirements for feasibility.
• Monitor production parameters: temperature, injection speed, cooling time, cycle time.
• Identify casting defects and perform root cause analysis.
• Investigate issues and implement corrective actions to improve quality.
• Collaborate with tooling engineers to improve die design and equipment efficiency.
• Conduct material evaluations and assess metal properties for forming/casting.
• Establish process controls and inspection procedures for quality.
• Analyze production data to reduce waste, defects, and costs.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and production trials.
