Job summary

GSS Group in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, seeks an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments on Kubernetes and OpenShift. You will drive automation and observable, secure deployments across multiple environments.

You will work with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitOps via ArgoCD, and service mesh, focusing on reliability and collaboration with development and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD implementation, automation, and container orchestration.
• Proficient with Jenkins setup, pipelines, and Groovy scripting.
• Solid knowledge of Pipeline-as-Code, GitOps practices, and declarative deployments.
• Experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes administration and operations.
• Familiarity with observability stack (ELK/Prometheus/Grafana) and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for enterprise deployments.
• Build and manage deployment pipelines across Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.
• Develop automated CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Maintain Jenkins Shared Libraries, Pipeline-as-Code, and Groovy scripts.
• Implement GitOps-based deployment using ArgoCD and related tooling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate build, deployment, and environment management.
