Job summary

Emirates seeks a Senior Technical Engineer - Public Cloud in Dubai to design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions aligned with enterprise standards. You will work across architecture, security, network and DevOps to enable Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, observability and FinOps practices for a robust cloud platform.

Lead initiatives in cloud modernization, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help drive platform engineering for scalable digital infrastructure at scale.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• 5+ years of IT engineering experience is required.
• Experience with cloud platforms and automation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop IT solutions that meet customer requirements and align with technical strategy.
• Ensure architecture meets availability, capacity, security, and performance SLAs.
• Design architecture for projects using established EA standards and new technologies.
• Collaborate with IT teams to monitor technology and configure incidents.
• Guide teams on solution design, ensuring costs and timescales meet objectives.
• Publish documentation and data/runbooks for governance and operations.
