Job summary

Core42 in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, provision and manage scalable infrastructure, applications and automation capabilities across a range of projects and platforms.

You will collaborate with engineering, security and operations teams to enable safe and efficient application delivery while improving system reliability, performance and operational maturity.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps experience in Linux environments.
• Strong cloud experience across Azure and AWS with certifications desirable.
• Expertise in Terraform/Ansible and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of GitLab CI/CD and GitOps practices.
• Proficient in Python, Go or Bash scripting.

Responsibilities

• Mentor DevOps engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps.
• Collaborate with software/platform teams to design tech stacks and secure deployment.
• Design and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/Ansible.
• Build end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Assess delivery processes, performance metrics and drive improvements.
• Work with Security to strengthen protection against threats.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Standardize practices to improve cross-team delivery efficiency.
