Job summary

Al-Futtaim is seeking an Assistant Manager Design to lead the design process from pre-concept to construction documentation, ensuring alignment with project objectives and regulatory requirements while coordinating with project team leaders to integrate DFC requirements into all designs.

You will prequalify and select design consultants, define design scopes, manage contracts, control costs, and oversee design reviews and approvals, while mentoring the draughting team to deliver compliant,

Qualifications

• Architectural Honours Degree and qualified Architect or equivalent.
• 10 to 15 years hands-on experience in Design and Construction.
• In-depth knowledge of architectural design standards, codes, and building regulations.
• Experience with prequalification of consultants and coordination of design scopes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design process from pre-concept to construction documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Team Leaders/Managers and designers.
• Ensure designs comply with statutory regulations and DFC requirements.
• Procure design reviews and communicate actionable feedback to designers.
