Job summary

IMKAN Properties in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to lead design management across a portfolio of projects from inception to completion. You will drive design coordination, governance and deliverables with external consultants and internal teams.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication and a track record of delivering multidisciplinary projects within UAE regulations, with proficiency in design reviews, budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture, Engineering or Master Planning required.
• Experience leading design management for multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience managing consultants, budgets and timelines.
• Knowledge of UAE authority regulations.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with design reviews and presentations.
• UAE real estate development experience preferred.

• Manage design consultants, deliverables, budgets, timelines and quality
• Coordinate with Development, Projects, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Marketing and Sales teams
• Liaise with external consultants, contractors and other stakeholders
• Lead design reviews, technical coordination and project presentations

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Architecture, Engineering or Master Planning
• Strong developer/client-side design management experience
• Proven experience managing consultants and multidisciplinary projects
• Strong technical, design review, budget and project delivery skills
• Good knowledge of UAE authority regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit/Navisworks and MS Office
• UAE real estate development experience is preferred
