Job summary

Envisage Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Design Engineer in Dubai to set engineering standards, draft technical drawings, and oversee prototype testing. The role covers product development, DAC definition, and manufacturing drawings in line with API and client specifications.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in a similar field, with AutoCAD/CADWorx proficiency and solid project planning experience. UAE-based on-site position with opportunity to lead design initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Design or Engineering is required.
Minimum 10 years in a similar field at a relevant organization.
Strong knowledge of API manufacturing principles and packer design.

Responsibilities

Set engineering standards and processes.
Provide technical drafting of drawings.
Create assembly, disassembly, and redress procedures.
Generate engineering test requests and reports.
Design plan, review, and approval.
Participate in product development processes.
Oversee equipment qualification and testing.
Analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and data.
Ensure conformance with design and performance specifications.
Develop manufacturing drawings per applicable standards.
Maintain drawing control and ensure integrity.
