Job summary

Uasmart in Dubai, UAE seeks an experienced Data Security Engineer to strengthen enterprise data protection and security compliance. You will lead Guardium deployments, encryption implementations and DLP/SIEM integration.

The role focuses on protecting sensitive data, optimizing DAM/FAM/S‑TAP workflows, and collaborating across IT and security teams to uphold ISO 27001, PCI DSS and GDPR standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in data security or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Guardium is mandatory.
• Experience with IBM Guardium DAM, FAM and S-TAP.
• Experience with Thales CipherTrust Manager.
• Strong knowledge of data encryption.
• Experience with TDE, CTE, HSM and KMIP.
• Knowledge of DLP, SIEM and IAM.
• Understanding of ISO 27001.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS.
• Knowledge of GDPR.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support IBM Guardium data security solutions.
• Work with IBM Guardium DAM, FAM and S-TAP technologies.
• Monitor and protect sensitive enterprise data.
• Support database activity monitoring and data security controls.
• Manage and support Thales CipherTrust Manager.
• Implement and maintain data encryption solutions.
• Work with TDE, CTE, HSM and KMIP technologies.
• Support Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
• Work with SIEM and IAM security environments.
• Monitor security events and support investigation of data security incidents.
• Support data security compliance and control requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation and security procedures.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application and security teams.
