Job summary

BEYOND.one Gmbh is seeking a Data Security Engineer II to safeguard enterprise data across hybrid environments and drive encryption, masking, and privacy controls. You will align data protection with evolving laws and integrate security into DevSecOps workflows.

The role focuses on implementing encryption, anonymisation, and data masking, with collaboration across governance, compliance, and engineering teams to mitigate risk and protect sensitive datasets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Security.
• 5+ years in information security focusing on data protection.
• Experience with GDPR, KSA CRF/PDPL, UAE Data Protection Law.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of robust data security solutions across datasets.
• Collaborate with governance, compliance, engineering and legal teams to align data usage with security controls.
• Manage enterprise encryption technologies with key management and data confidentiality at rest/in transit.
• Drive data masking, anonymisation and pseudonymisation to support regulatory compliance and secure data sharing.
• Deploy and operationalize DLP, Data Classification and Rights Management tools integrated with business workflows.
• Conduct security assessments across cloud and on-prem environments to identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Embed data security best practices into DevOps pipelines and IaC practices.
• Respond to incidents related to data breaches, ensuring rapid containment and learning.
• Perform regular audits and risk assessments related to sensitive data handling.
