Job summary

Emirates Group IT seeks a Senior Technical Engineer - Data Centre Facilities to design and deliver robust IT data solutions that meet business needs and standards. You will guide EGIT teams, ensure availability and security, and drive architectural innovations across projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data-centre facilities, strong knowledge of power, cooling, cabling, and compliance with ANSI/TIA-942 and ISO standards. Certifications such as CDCP/CDCS/AOS are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT and 5+ years in data-centre facilities and operations.
• Knowledge of electrical power, cooling, cabling, fire safety and security.
• Familiar with ANSI/TIA-942, ISO standards and vendor/SLA management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver robust IT data solutions aligned to business needs.
• Act as technical lead and ensure SLAs for availability and performance.
• Drive innovation and guide teams in architecture, design and deployment.
• Publish high-quality documentation and manage end-of-life equipment.
• Coordinate changes, incident handling and adherence to security standards.
