Job summary

Amazon Data Services Emirates LLC is seeking a skilled engineer to design, develop, and implement new electrical products and services for data centers.

You will manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, collaborate with engineering, operations, marketing, and sales, define requirements, roadmaps, and prioritize features while ensuring regulatory compliance and documentation.

Experience with mission-critical facilities and knowledge of building codes is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission-critical facilities (including data centers).
• Professional Engineering or Architectural license.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region.
• Experience carrying design concepts from exploration through development and deployment or mass production.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new electrical products and services for data centers.
• Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including market research, product definition, development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, operations, marketing, and sales) to ensure successful product development and launch.
• Define product requirements, create product roadmaps, and prioritise product features.
• Analyze market trends, identify customer needs, and develop innovative solutions to meet those needs.
• Provide technical expertise and support for product‑related issues.
• Develop and maintain product documentation, including specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
• Monitor product performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes.
