Job summary

Uniqus Tech Consulting seeks an experienced Associate Director to lead the UAE cybersecurity advisory and delivery practice, engaging with C-suite stakeholders and building differentiated offerings. Qualifications

• 12+ years in cybersecurity, technology risk, information security, IT risk and controls; 15+ years preferred for leadership.
• Experience leading cybersecurity, cyber GRC, technology risk, or digital transformation engagements for large or regulated organizations.
• Strong knowledge of cyber strategy and governance, security controls, IT risk, cloud security, data protection, IAM/PAM, network security, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Proven consulting/leadership background with client relationships, engagement delivery, and commercial outcomes.
• Experience in UAE or GCC market preferred; familiarity with local regulatory expectations.
• Strong understanding of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, COBIT, PCI DSS and UAE privacy requirements.
• Proven ability to communicate complex cyber/regulatory issues to senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and multi-country programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cybersecurity and technology risk engagements from scoping to delivery and executive reporting.
• Define pragmatic cyber strategies, operating models, governance, roadmaps, and control environments.
• Translate regulatory and technical requirements into actionable decisions and investment plans.
• Oversee assessments covering cyber maturity, security architecture, cloud and data security, IAM, network security, monitoring, and incident response.
• Embed security and privacy into ERP, cloud, data, and AI-enabled transformations.
• Build UAE/GCC cyber risk offerings, accelerators, playbooks, and delivery assets.
• Develop senior client relationships, shape solutions, and lead proposals and pitches.
• Cultivate a high-performing delivery team and uphold delivery quality and integrity.
