Job summary

Armada seeks a senior technical pre-sales specialist in the UAE region to own pre-sales for regional NOC accounts. You will design edge deployments, translate oil & gas use cases into Armada architectures, and lead proofs of concept with product teams.

The role requires strong English communication, regional travel, and deep expertise in edge data centers, cloud, and AI/ML architectures. You will collaborate with partners like Microsoft Azure Local, NVIDIA, and Qualcomm to shape energy solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in pre-sales, solution architecture, or customer engineering.
• Direct experience in oil & gas sector is a hard requirement.
• Strong grasp of edge computing, data center infra, cloud, and AI/ML solution architecture.
• Experience scoping/running POCs and writing technical proposals.
• Familiarity with GCC / MEA energy landscape and NOC procurement environments.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel across the region.

• Design integrated edge solutions covering hardware requirements, network strategy, and application deployment
• Translate oil and gas operational use cases into Armada architectures
• Lead and document proofs of concept in partnership with product and delivery teams
• Act as the primary technical point of contact and trusted advisor for customer engineering and IT/OT stakeholders
• Position Armada platforms and partner stacks (Microsoft Azure Local, NVIDIA, Qualcomm) against competitors
• Support bid and RFP responses with technical content, architecture diagrams, and effort estimates
• Feed customer and field insights back to product management to shape the energy roadmap

Requirements

• 8+ years of pre-sales, solution architecture, or customer engineering experience
