Job summary

ADNOC Group is seeking a senior corrosion engineer to supervise and implement routine and non-routine corrosion mitigation activities across refinery and related facilities in Abu Dhabi. The role covers inspection of pipelines, wells, and equipment, with responsibility for failure investigations and recommendations for remedial actions.

The candidate will oversee coating programs, monitor corrosion systems, review metallurgy, and participate in RLA studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Metallurgy or Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in oil and gas corrosion control or related role.

Responsibilities

• Implements the Company's corrosion control policies to mitigate attacks on structures and facilities.
• Plans and conducts cathodic protection surveys and evaluates their effectiveness.
• Monitors coatings, inspects equipment, and plans repair programs.
• Analyzes corrosion data and recommends remedial measures.
• Updates corrosion and material information systems with test data and results.
• Participates in major turnaround activities and RBI projects.
