Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a senior Project & Service Engineer (I&C) in Dubai to lead PLC/DCS automation projects across Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, utilities and renewables. You will oversee installation, testing, commissioning, startup and troubleshooting of control systems.

You will bring 5-8 years of hands-on experience with DCS/SCADA, wear multiple hats from field installation to on-site support, and contribute to technical documentation and FAT/SAT activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or related field.
• 5-8 years of proven experience in servicing and maintaining industrial automation systems.
• Experience with DCS platforms including Honeywell Experion and SMSC Safety Manager.
• Experience with SCADA/HMI systems such as AVEVA/Wonderware/Ignition/WinCC/FactoryTalk View/Citect.

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise site activities including installation, testing, commissioning, startup and troubleshooting of automation systems.
• Conduct site surveys and technical assessments per project requirements.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for PLC, SCADA, DCS, SIS, and Fire & Gas systems.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support and attend emergency/on-call breakdowns.
• Lead FAT/SAT, commissioning records, and technical documentation.
• Review customer specs, FRs, P&IDs, and control philosophies.
