Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Control Room Operator to supervise and monitor hydrocarbon processing units and utilities using IC/DCS systems. The role focuses on safe operation within targeted performance parameters and requires coordination with field personnel to implement process controls.

The ideal candidate has extensive plant operations experience, strong knowledge of DCS, and adherence to HSE policies.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma in Chemical/Process Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 7 years plant operations experience, with at least 4 years in control room panel operations in oil/gas.
• Knowledge of DCS and process control procedures.
• Familiarity with HSE policies and plant safety standards.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control process parameters via IC/DCS to ensure safe operation.
• Supervise control room activities and coordinate with field personnel.
• Respond to alarms and trips; initiate safe shutdowns when required.
• Review permits to work and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Provide handover to maintenance and support emergency response initiatives.
