Job summary

Hire Rightt - Executive Search & HR Advisory is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager in Dubai to lead procurement and contract activities for commercial contracts and negotiation. The role emphasizes tendering, change management, and ensuring favorable terms with suppliers in the real estate sector.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years of experience, including 5+ years negotiating, drafting, and executing complex contracts, with strong knowledge of contract law and project management.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Supply Chain, Contracts Management or Quantity Surveying.
• CPP or equivalent procurement/contract management certification.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with 5+ years negotiating and drafting complex contracts in real estate.
• Strong knowledge of project, risk, and contract law.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement and contractual advice, safeguarding the company interests and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of different contracts and clauses to proactively identify, address, and minimize contract-related issues, safeguarding the company interests and ensuring project success.
• Manage the tendering and awarding process and procedures, ensuring the selection of qualified contractors.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive reports to provide Management with timely and insightful information on the progress of MEP initiatives against plans, budgets, and sales, enabling informed decision-making and strategic project management.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet the company’s procurement needs.
• Provide support in preparing budgetary cost advice.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
• Analyze spending patterns and develop cost reduction initiatives. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implements strategies to reduce procurement costs.
• Draft and review contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Process purchase requests from different departments and prepare comprehensive briefs for suppliers.

A leading entity in Dubai is looking for A Contracts Manager - handling Commercial Contracts and be responsible for commercial activities including tendering, change management, contract preparation, negotiation of terms and conditions.

Requirements

• Graduate in Supply Chain or Contracts Management/ Quantity Surveying or similar field.
• Certification in Procurement or contract management / Certified Public Procurement(CPP)
• preferred Strong knowledge and skills in Project Management, Risk Management.
• Strong understanding of contract law, construction law, and relevant business law principles
• Min. 10 years of experience with at least 5 years negotiating, drafting, and executing complex contracts in real estate industry
