Black Pearl Consult in Dubai is recruiting for a Contracts and Claims Lead (Arabic Speaking) to oversee a large portfolio of contracts and support the Contracts Manager in complex commercial matters.

The role focuses on managing lifecycle contracts, reviewing claims, variations, EOTs, EPC and related risk allocation, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to mitigate risks and resolve disputes.

Formación

• Strong hands-on experience in claims management, variations and EOTs.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, preferably with formal qualification/training.
• Experience with EPC contracts and risk allocation.
• Experience reviewing contractual risks, liabilities and commercial exposure.
• Exposure to utilities, power, water, energy or major capital projects is advantageous.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Manage contracts throughout the contract lifecycle and ensure obligations are properly administered.
• Review and manage claims, variations, change orders and contractual entitlements.
• Assess EOT, delay, disruption and other commercial/contractual claims.
• Manage contractual notices, correspondence, supporting documentation and contract records.
• Identify contractual and commercial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Support the administration of EPC, project, supply and operational contracts.
• Review contract performance and address issues with contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Support commercial negotiations, claims resolution and dispute avoidance.
• Work with Projects, Procurement/Supply Chain, Finance, Legal and other internal stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to the contracts team and maintain controls across a high-volume contract portfolio.
