Job summary

Anuvu in Dubai, UAE is seeking a Sr. Content Programming Manager to drive high-quality movie and TV programming for global clients including Hollywood and international partners. You will coordinate between teams to ensure client-specific content meets editorial guidelines and deadlines.

The role requires strong negotiating ability, stakeholder management, and a track record in programming/content. Hybrid remote work is available with a focus on delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Significant, demonstrated experience in a similar programming/content role.
• Experience negotiating complex deals and managing key client relationships.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and research programming options, liaise with distributors to gather data about new content available for licensing to clients
• Screening of programming options from a suitability perspective and creating warning notes and leading discussions with colleagues and clients
• Prepare and present strategic programming recommendations for clients, continually enhancing the creative direction and quality of programming across the portfolio
• Act as a key liaison with UK and International offices, sister companies, and third-party suppliers on content selection, delivery, and broader strategic alignment
• Develop and maintain close customer relations, negotiate and influence their content choices to maximize margins
• Proactively manage and develop relationships with all external content suppliers.
• Monitor compliance with contracts with the Client Account Management team
• Identify strategies for deal structures and liaise with commercial finance
• Occasionally negotiate competitive license fees
• Develop additional revenues out of the existing customer base with new programming and the promotion of other Anuvu services
• Assist in the evaluation of trends and establish goals consistent with industry growth
• Provide programming expertise to the sales support and account management functions for proposal and tender generation.
• Contribute to departmental strategy, process improvement, and best practice development
• Develop and present content strategy presentations, leading client meetings to communicate recommendations and drive strategic discussions.
• Analyze content performance and audience engagement data to develop data-driven content proposals and recommendations.
