Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Consultant / Project Manager for Ports & Marine in Abu Dhabi. The role involves leading studies and projects within the Ports & Marine line, delivering engineering services, and ensuring technical quality with best-practice methods and continuous improvement.

Based in Abu Dhabi, you will drive cost-reduction and productivity gains and support proposal efforts. Applicants should have extensive port engineering and project management experience, with a civil engineering

• Senior-level experience in port engineering and project management.
• Fluent English communication and professional certifications preferred.
• Willing to travel within the Middle East region.

Responsibilities

• Manage studies and projects within the Ports & Marine service line
• Act as Senior Consultant in delivery of Port Consulting and Engineering Services
• Ensuring technical quality through implementation of best practice and continuous search for improvement
• Promoting cost-reduction and productivity-enhancing initiatives
• Performing site visits & inspections data gathering activities and technical evaluations that are relevant to assigned tasks and works
• Participating in design review and advising on technical design and drafting issues and compliance requirements as appropriate
• Support proposals preparations
• Maintain Cost and Quality Control on projects in accordance with Worley procedures

Qualifications

• Preferably more than 15 years (10 years minimum) relevant experience in the Port Engineering Industry and 5 years as a Project Manager.
• BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering or Similar
• Chartered Status or similar preferred
• Excellent Written and Spoken English.
• Project management skills and certifications.
• Ability to travel within the Middle East region
• Collaborative worker
