Job summary

Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital is seeking an experienced Consultant Neurologist to join its multidisciplinary team in the UAE. The role covers comprehensive neurological care across inpatient and outpatient settings, with a focus on excellence and patient-centered outcomes.

The successful candidate will lead clinical care, contribute to education and research, and participate in quality improvement initiatives while ensuring safe, evidence-based practice aligned with DOH Abu Dhabi requirements.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Tier 1 qualification in Neurology recognised by DOH Abu Dhabi.
• Completion of accredited specialty training in Neurology and eligibility for Consultant licensure with DOH Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of neurological disorders across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Provide expert neurological consultations for inpatients, outpatients, and emergencies.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans and monitor patient outcomes.
• Interpret neurological investigations (EEG, EMG/NCS, neuroimaging, labs).
• Participate in stroke management and multidisciplinary care pathways.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, rehab specialists and allied health professionals.
