Job summary

Penspen is seeking a Senior Construction Piping Engineer for a gas project in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee piping construction activities and ensure safe, compliant installation, testing and mechanical completion on a large LNG project.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, 15+ years of construction experience (including LNG or major oil and gas projects) and familiarity with ADNOC projects and ASME B31.3 standards. Previous PMC or client-side experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 15+ years of relevant construction experience, including 5 years on LNG or major oil and gas projects.
• Experience working on ADNOC projects.
• Experience supervising piping fabrication, erection, welding, pressure testing, reinstatement and mechanical completion.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and relevant quality and HSE requirements.
• Previous PMC or client-side experience preferred.

Job Purpose

Oversee piping construction activities for the LNG project on behalf of the PMC, ensuring contractors complete installation, testing, and mechanical completion safely and in accordance with project specifications and schedules.

Minimum Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant construction experience, including 5 years on LNG or major oil and gas projects.
• Experience working in ADNOC projects.
• Experience supervising piping fabrication, erection, welding, pressure testing, reinstatement, and mechanical completion.
• Knowledge of applicable piping codes, including ASME B31.3, and relevant quality and HSE requirements.
• Previous PMC or client-side experience preferred.
