Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to support the Head of Compliance in maintaining regulatory standards for the FX and CFDs markets in the UAE. You will manage KYC/AML frameworks, client onboarding, and regulatory reporting, ensuring robust internal controls.

In this role you will review onboarding files, perform risk assessments, monitor transactions, and support audits and regulatory submissions. Fluent English required; CAMS or ICA is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of compliance or AML/KYC experience, preferably in FX/ CFDs.
• Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory requirements, AML/CFT, KYC/CDD/EDD, sanctions, and transaction monitoring.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks.
• Conduct compliance monitoring and identify potential regulatory breaches, risks, and control gaps.
• Review client onboarding, KYC, CDD, EDD, background checks, sanctions screening, and risk assessments.
• Review high-risk clients and elevate suspicious activities or AML concerns where required.
• Support transaction monitoring and SAR/STR review and escalation.
• Ensure client records and compliance documentation are accurate and up to date.
• Assist with regulatory audits, inspections, reporting, and regulatory submissions.
• Monitor regulatory developments and support the implementation of required changes.
• Provide compliance guidance and support AML/KYC training and awareness.

• CAMS, ICA, or similar certification is an advantage.
