Job summary

GDIT is seeking a senior Azure architect in Dubai to design, implement, and evolve enterprise cloud solutions that support AI/LLM architectures. You will collaborate with application developers, AI engineers, and security teams to translate research needs into scalable cloud designs and automation.

You will lead end-to-end Azure implementations, manage Terraform modules, and drive DevOps/CI/CD practices while optimizing performance and costs for secure, reliable services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience in relevant fields.
• Deep hands-on Microsoft Azure experience across compute, networking, storage, and security.
• Experience implementing or supporting modern AI/LLM architectures and services.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, identity, and security controls.
• Experience with DevOps/CI/CD practices and application development lifecycles.
• Excellent architecture, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Partner with application developers, AI engineers, and security teams to translate research needs into scalable cloud architectures
• Engineer end-to-end Azure solutions incorporating compute, storage, networking, and identity
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules and automation to manage cloud infrastructure
• Design and integrate DevOps and CI/CD capabilities
• Monitor and optimize application and infrastructure performance, reliability, and cost
• Serve as a senior technical resource and mentor for the solution

Requirements

• BS/BA and 8+ years of relevant IT experience
• Deep hands-on Microsoft Azure experience across compute, networking, storage, and security
• Experience implementing or supporting modern AI/LLM architectures and services

• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, identity, and security controls

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and integrating generative AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry or Azure OpenAI
• Strong software development and automation experience using Python, PowerShell, or TypeScript
• Relevant Microsoft Azure, AI, or Terraform certifications
• Experience supporting scientific research or federal government environments
