Job summary

Iconic IT Consulting Services in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Integration Developer to lead the development of scalable, cloud-native microservices and integration solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust backend systems.

The role requires 12 years of software development experience in Java/JEE/Spring, plus 3 years designing large-scale distributed systems and hands-on Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift.

Qualifications

• 12 years of software development experience in Java/JEE/Spring.
• 3 years of experience in designing large-scale distributed systems.
• Expertise in Microservices Architecture and cloud-native application development.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
• Strong understanding of security testing, TDD and DevOps principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, SonarQube, Git, Maven, Gradle).
• Familiarity with application servers (JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop resilient and scalable microservices using Java Spring Boot and cloud-native technologies.
• Advocate for best coding practices, maintainability and security in high-scale backend environments.
• Solve complex technical challenges while optimizing performance and reliability.
• Drive technical innovation and mentor team members.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to define and improve internal standards.
• Lead containerization efforts using Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Ensure code quality through automated testing, static analysis and DevOps best practices.
