Job summary

Pioneer IPMC seeks a Civil / Structural Inspection Engineer to ensure on-site works comply with approved drawings, specs, quality standards, and contract requirements. The role involves continuous site inspections, coordination with contractors and consultants, and verification of materials and workmanship throughout construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BSc or higher).
• Minimum 10 years of overall experience in civil/structural site inspection and construction supervision on similar projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in concrete works, formwork/shuttering systems, and structural construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all site activities submitted for inspection have approved shop drawings, MS, QCP, and ITPs.
• Conduct site inspections in accordance with approved ITPs and ITRs.
• Record inspection results, close out ITRs, and verify that items are resolved per QCPs.
• Coordinate with ITL to verify test results meet specs and contract requirements.
• Monitor civil and structural works for compliance with contract documents and drawings.
• Verify that only approved materials (MARs) are used on site.
• Supervise concrete works, including delivery, pouring, curing, and testing per QA/QC.
• Inspect formwork and shuttering systems for quality and safety.
• Identify, report, and follow up on NCRs with Construction Manager and QA/QC.
• Support progress and closeout activities including delays reporting and as-built reviews.
