Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in construction inspection or infrastructure supervision.
• Experience working on heavy construction or infrastructure development projects.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical construction specifications.
• Familiarity with construction testing procedures and inspection methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform complex inspection tasks on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct continuous inspections of construction activities to verify compliance with engineering specifications.
• Perform field tests related to civil and structural works including soil compaction and concrete quality verification.
• Monitor concrete works including slump testing, air entrainment checks, and strength testing.
• Inspect installation of underground pipelines for correct alignment and grades.
• Monitor piling operations to verify correct positioning and stability.
• Validate piping systems through engineering checks and hydraulic pressure testing.
• Inspect electrical installations for grounding, system integrity, and compliance.
• Monitor painting and insulation works to ensure correct application and thickness.
• Supervise construction labor activities to ensure high standards of workmanship.
• Assist in preparing quality control documentation and inspection reports.
• Support project teams in developing safe work practices.

Skills

Knowledge of construction inspection standards and quality assurance procedures

Ability to perform field testing and evaluate construction materials and structural elements

Experience monitoring civil works including pipelines, foundations, and infrastructure installations

Strong reporting and documentation skills for inspection records and compliance reports

Familiarity with safety practices and construction site risk management

Effective communication and coordination skills when working with project teams and contractors

Education

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering
