Job summary

A construction and engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Civil Engineer to oversee and coordinate construction activities. You will lead projects from concept to completion, review design specifications, and manage budgets effectively. Qualifications

• Minimum 6-12 years of experience in civil engineering including site supervision and project management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise civil engineering projects from concept through completion.
• Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• Ensure compliance with local authority standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections, progress monitoring, and quality assurance checks.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and documentation.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and government authorities.
• Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and propose practical engineering solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and site teams.
