Job summary

AL TAIF is seeking a Contracts Specialist to manage civil and construction project contracts through the full lifecycle, from SOW review to award and closeout. You will coordinate with requesters, end users, and vendors to ensure accurate specifications and compliant documentation.

The role requires strong negotiation, vendor management, and English communication skills, with experience in ERP environments and MS Office. UAE driving license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Certificates in Contract/Procurement are preferred.
• Minimum of five years in a purchasing role; Civil Engineering background acceptable.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage contracts for civil and construction projects across the full lifecycle.
• Review SOWs with requesters and end users for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and issue ITT, RFPs, and RFQs and evaluate bids.
• Prepare final contractual instruments (POs, BPAs, SMA) and ensure documentation for approval and award.
• Support contract audits and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
