Job summary

NADIA Recruitment & Management Consultants in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Senior Construction Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects across the UAE. Qualifications

• 12–15 years of UAE experience required.
• Proven Civil construction, infrastructure, high-rise and government project experience.
• Strong QHSE background and safety standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred).
• ESTIDAMA certification is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
• Oversee site activities including resource allocation, subcontractor coordination, and progress monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with design teams, architects, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.
• Prepare, review, and manage project documentation including reports, contracts, and permits.
• Implement risk management strategies and proactively resolve construction-related issues.
• Optimize construction methods and material usage to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead, mentor, and train junior engineers and site personnel.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, government authorities, suppliers, and internal teams.
