Senior Category Specialist

What you’ll deliver

• You’ll support the development of multi-year category strategies and plans to achieve maximum lifecycle value from assigned spend categories.
• You’ll review requisitions received, and assign requisition to category specialists for action.
• You’ll review requisitions submitted by end users and required information to enable sourcing is available.
• You’ll define and execute sourcing strategies in close collaboration with the business stakeholders for the respective spend categories.
• You’ll recommend suppliers based on the evaluations and negotiations and submit approval as per delegation of authority.

What you bring

• You should be educated to a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Engineering/Finance/Procurement, acquired 6 months – 3 years of relevant experience and 7 – 10 years of overall experience.
• You’ll have knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Oracle).
• You’ll have advanced knowledge of Excel.
