Job summary

Abroad Work in Umm-al-Qaiwain UAE is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of carpentry experience and can read technical plans and drawings. The role involves constructing, installing and repairing wooden fixtures on various projects, using power tools safely and accurately.

The position offers a monthly salary of 1300 AED, with immigrant candidates considered. Applicants should be in good physical condition and able to lift heavy objects.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of carpentry experience.
• Ability to read technical plans and drawings.
• Knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance.
• Ability to use power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Construct, assemble or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, stairs and other wooden fixtures used in buildings
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil or chalk line
• Cut materials to size indicated by drawings or templates using handsaws, power saws or chisels
• Shape materials to specified measurements using planes, chisels and carves
• Assemble cut & shaped materials and fix them together with nails, screws or glue
• Check accuracy of structures assembled with spirit levels or other precision instruments
• Fill cracks and imperfections with putty or wood filler
• Install windows, doors and furniture items as requested by customers
