Job summary

Ajman University seeks a Senior Career Counsellor to lead individual and group career guidance for students, aligned with academic programs and MASAR Career Excellence. You will work with faculty, advisors and MASAR colleagues to ensure high-quality counselling, assessment, and content, and to evaluate service effectiveness.

The role requires at least 5 years in counselling, a relevant degree, and professional credentials in career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in psychology, counselling, education or related field.
• Master’s degree in Career Counselling or related field preferred.
• Credential in career development or coaching required; must obtain within 12 months if not held.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group career counselling to students.
• Manage an assigned caseload including complex cases and referrals.
• Develop and maintain the structured counselling model, intake and triage processes of the unit.
• Advise on career assessment tools and train colleagues in their use.
