Job summary

SearchPlus HR Consultancy is seeking a Specialist / Consultant Cardiac Surgeon with UK CCT to deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care in Abu Dhabi, including pre-operative assessment, surgery, and post-operative management. The role requires MBBS/MBChB, UK CCT in Cardiothoracic/Cardiac Surgery, and relevant consultant-level experience.

The candidate should be eligible for UAE licensure, possess strong surgical and communication skills, and be prepared to meet credentialing requirements; UAE

Qualifications

• MBBS/MBChB or equivalent qualification.
• UK CCT in Cardiothoracic Surgery or equivalent.
• Current good standing and relevant UAE licensing pathway required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients requiring cardiac surgical intervention.
• Perform cardiac surgical procedures within clinical privileges.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.
• Provide post-operative care and manage complications.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, anaesthetists, intensivists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Review diagnostic investigations and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in governance and CPD.

Education
