About this role:

As the Senior Business Development Manager for Saudi you will report into the Regional Director of ME & APAC; taking responsibility for winning new business, building out our partnership portfolio and taking ownership of achieving targets from identified accounts in the region. You’ll lead the end-to-end sales cycle - from prospecting, and opportunity development, to closure and onboarding. You will have experience working in digital marketplaces, MNOs, IMTOs and the OTT sphere with a clear focus on opening doors to key clients and platforms for Ding. This is a really exciting opportunity to create a huge impact in a growing, dynamic global organization whilst making a true and tangible difference in our customers lives worldwide.

What we need you to do:
  • Sell to and manage our key distribution, MNO and MVNO partners in Saudi; building on existing relationships to provide best in class service management and support.
  • Grow out distribution volumes, taking P&L responsibility for the region; hitting (and exceeding!) your GP growth targets - monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Build a robust pipeline of prospects - identifying, developing and pursuing new business opportunities; managing from prospecting to negotiations to closure and onboarding; working closely with the global business development and operations teams.
  • Liaise with a diverse set of functions (Payments, Growth, Risk & Fraud) within target organizations, including C-Level executives.
  • Drive market insights with detailed data work to enable us to develop our product proposition for distribution and MNO customers, contributing to B2C development and the creation of successful marketing campaigns and strategies.
What we are looking for:
  • Experience selling across e-commerce, digital media, gaming, rewards, bill payment, remittance, MNO or financial services industries; with proven ability to win, close and launch new business, exceeding targets and quotas (ideally with over 7 years of experience working in similar roles).
  • Exposure to money transfer and financial institutions with an understanding of how they operate and knowledge of their online products and services.
  • You have an active pipeline and contacts in MNO’s and IMTO’s, with the ability to connect with potential partners from day one to build and implement strategic partnerships and enablement plans.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization and managing different stakeholder relationships in a global company.
  • Experience with detailed contract negotiations and familiarity with the legal and regulatory requirements related to such.
  • You are passionate about Ding’s vision and can communicate this effectively through product demonstrations and representation at market events and trade shows
  • You have strong problem-solving skills and are an exceptional communicator, both verbally and written.
  • You excel in relationship-building, negotiation and strategic planning, cultivating and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial partnerships and you have a keen understanding of business development and market dynamics. You use a customer centric approach to align partner objectives with company goals.
  • Experience interpreting and reporting detailed market and sales data to influence strategy and drive growth.
  • Flexibility to travel when required
  • Fluent Arabic and English
