Job summary

Six Construct, a BESIX Group subsidiary, seeks a Bid Manager to drive high‑value tenders across the Middle East and Africa. You will coordinate engineering, planning, procurement, legal, and finance teams to deliver competitive bids and manage risk and pricing strategy from start to finish.

Ideal candidates have extensive infrastructure/marine bid experience, strong commercial acumen, and ability to operate in multicultural environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in bid management/tendering roles.
• 8–12 years construction industry experience with infrastructure/marine bids.
• Proven track record delivering bids for infrastructure/m marine projects.
• Experience leading tenders across Africa and/or the Middle East.
• Familiarity with international contract frameworks (FIDIC) and EPC/DB/ECI models.
• Experience in consortia/joint ventures and multinational bid teams.
• Strong cost estimation, pricing, and financial modeling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage each tender as a standalone project with full admin and financial oversight.
• Coordinate internal and external teams to develop compliant bids.
• Lead cost estimation, pricing strategy and financial modeling to meet target margins.
• Perform contractual/commercial risk analyses and review international contract frameworks.
• Organize site visits and meetings with clients and partners; lead negotiations.
• Ensure high-quality submissions, deadlines, governance, and handover to delivery teams.
• Leverage experience in African/Middle East markets and manage French-speaking stakeholders.
