Job summary

Condé Nast Middle East seeks a Beauty & Wellness Editor to lead Vogue Arabia’s beauty and wellness coverage across print and digital platforms. Reporting to the Head of Editorial Content, this senior role sets the tone, identifies trends, and builds industry connections to drive engaging, exclusive stories for Vogue readers.

You will curate a dynamic agenda, commission and edit stories, and collaborate with editorial and revenue teams to develop innovative formats for social media and key brand

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in beauty and wellness editorial, with a track record of writing, commissioning and editing.
• Strong editorial instinct and trends identification for Vogue readers.
• Ability to edit stories quickly within a CMS.
• Solid SEO understanding and application to headlines and copy.
• Social media savvy with trend spotting for engaging content.
• Entrepreneurial mindset for editorial opportunities and audience growth.
• Excellent communication across departments and seniority levels.
• Deep understanding of the Vogue brand and Condé Nast, with industry contacts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, commission and edit beauty and wellness stories across Vogue Arabia’s platforms.
• Write stories ranging from daily news to features and exclusives.
• Build and maintain relationships with brands, PRs and industry contacts for editorial access.
• Stay ahead of industry developments to ensure timely and distinctive coverage.
• Represent Vogue at press openings, industry events and panels.
• Collaborate with revenue teams on relevant projects and opportunities.
• Create compelling beauty formats optimized for social media channels.
