Job summary

Jumeirah in Dubai’s luxury Pierchic restaurant at Jumeirah Al Qasr invites a Senior Bartender to join our team. You will craft cocktails and beverages, upsell, and ensure impeccable service in a high-end setting along the private Madinat coastline.

Ideal candidates hold a Hospitality diploma, possess 2–3 years of international bartending experience, and are fluent in English with any additional language a plus. Knowledge of food hygiene and guest culture is essential.

• Basic Food and Hygiene Training.
• International experience and ability to respect cultural differences.
• 2–3 years of bartending experience in international hospitality.
• Proficient in English (read/write/speak).

Responsibilities

About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for aSenior Bartendertojoin our team inPierchic in Jumeirah Al Qasr.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to beverage recipes. Curate recipes specializing in fine beverages and unique cocktails in accordance with theme of the outlet/function or as required by guests
• Must be able to assess and manage guests’ needs and recommend excellent wine and food pairing as per theme of the outlet or as required by guests. Where possible, upsell Beverages to guests based on their need, choice, and selection
• Work closely with Bartenders serving all guests and support them as necessary to ensure excellent service delivery
• Setup the bar appropriately, ensuring the visuals and merchandise are placed appropriately. Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays
• Undertake opening, closing & cleaning tasks as detailed on checklists
• Oversee Bar inventories, ensure the checking of expiration dates and that all perishable garnishes are stored and recorded in designated storage area

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Industry
• Basic Food and Hygiene Training
• Experience of working in an international capacity and a clear understanding of cultural differences showcasing trust and respect for everyone
• 2 - 3 years Bartending experience within the international hospitality
• Proficient in English (Read/Write/Speak – Essential)
• Knowledge of additional language (Desired)
