Job summary

Transguard Workforce Solutions seeks a Senior Analyst Regulatory Reporting - Banking for our client in Dubai. You will support the Head of Finance, Financial Reporting and Manager, Regulatory Reporting in establishing and maintaining regulatory reporting procedures with a focus on CBUAE compliance and Basel III calculations.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, at least six years in finance or banking, and proven experience with regulatory reporting, data integrity and reporting

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant or relevant master’s degree with strong accounting knowledge.
• Six years’ experience in finance or accounting, preferably banking.
• Strong knowledge of CBUAE regulatory reporting requirements and guidance.
• Solid understanding of Basel capital concepts, risk-weighted assets, and control frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/review regulatory returns for CBUAE and other authorities on multiple cycles.
• Ensure submissions are complete, accurate and timely with no material errors.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement regulatory updates and automation.
• Prepare Basel III capital adequacy calculations and related schedules.
• Respond to CBUAE enquiries and internal audits with timely, complete documentation.
• Submit statistical returns to Emirates and ministries with accuracy and timeliness.
• Support design and maintenance of finance policies and controls for regulatory submissions.
• Track regulatory matters and maintain oversight of reporting integrity.
• Communicate regulatory announcements and changes effectively.
• Collaborate with technology to implement regulatory inputs and reflect new products in reports.
• Provide data, reconciliations and documentation for audits as requested.
• Assist in substantiation and disclosures for annual/interim financial statements.
• Monitor cycle delivery and escalate material concerns as needed.
• Support regulatory reporting transformation initiatives, including testing and validation.
