Job summary

Deriv, based in Dubai's Business Bay, seeks a Senior Banking Administrative Executive to grow and optimize global banking partnerships, using commercial judgment and AI-powered automation to boost efficiency and safeguard assets.

You will manage bank applications, KYB processes, and negotiations while coordinating with internal teams to streamline onboarding, compliance, and documentation for high‑impact initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in banking operations, payment operations, or corporate banking administration.
• Proficiency using AI-driven productivity tools and digital workflows.
• Strong background in reviewing financial terms, negotiating agreements, and understanding corporate banking procedures.
• Excellent organizational capabilities, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and spoken English with engagement of executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Process & Automation: Review everyday banking procedures to identify bottlenecks and improve speed and accuracy with internal tools.
• Banking Networks: Research potential new banking and payment partners globally to expand our financial infrastructure.
• Partner Relations: Serve as a primary contact for banks and financial providers, maintaining strong relationships via meetings.
• Contract Negotiation: Review and negotiate commercial terms, fees, and service agreements with banks for favorable terms.
• Onboarding & Compliance: Complete bank applications, respond to due diligence requests, and maintain KYB documentation.
• Documentation & Data Management: Organize banking agreements, track updates, renewal dates, and account records.
• Issue Resolution: Monitor banking operations and address delays, issues, or queries before they escalate.
• Audits & Special Projects: Support internal/external audits by providing banking records and assist on special projects.

As a Senior Banking Administrative Executive at Deriv, you will play a vital role in expanding, optimizing, and maintaining our global banking and financial partner relationships. Operating from our Dubai office in Business Bay, you will leverage commercial judgment, relationship management skills, and AI-powered automation to drive operational efficiency and protect Deriv’s assets.

What You'll Do

• Process & Automation: Review everyday banking procedures to find manual bottlenecks, then work with our internal tech and automation tools to make them faster, easier, and less error-prone.
• Banking Networks: Research potential new banking and payment partners globally to help expand our financial infrastructure.
• Partner Relations: Act as a key contact for banks and financial service providers, building strong working relationships through regular meetings and clear communication.
• Contract Negotiation: Review and negotiate commercial terms, fee structures, and service agreements with banks to make sure we get the best terms possible.
• Onboarding & Compliance: Complete bank applications, handle due diligence requests, and keep all KYB (Know Your Business) documentation accurate and up to date.
• Documentation & Data Management: Store and organize all banking agreements properly, keeping track of contract updates, renewal dates, and bank account records.
• Issue Resolution: Keep an eye on ongoing banking operations and tackle service delays, account issues, or partner queries before they become larger problems.
• Audits & Special Projects: Assist with internal and external audits by pulling required banking records, and pitch in on special operational projects as needed.

Who You Are

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in banking operations, payment operations, or corporate banking administration.
• AI & Digital Literacy: Comfort using AI-driven productivity tools and digital workflows, paired with a continuous-improvement mindset.
• Negotiation & Commercial Skills: Strong background in reviewing financial terms, negotiating agreements, and understanding corporate banking procedures.
• Organization & Detail: Exceptional organizational capabilities, strong attention to detail, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Communication & Maturity: Excellent written and spoken English, strong interpersonal skills, high integrity, and the confidence to engage with executive stakeholders.

The Honest Reality

This is demanding work. Banks move on their own timelines, and a delayed account or an expired document becomes your problem quickly. You'll negotiate terms with people who do this for a living, and you'll be accountable when auditors ask for a record. You'll also be asked to automate parts of a job you may have spent years doing by hand.
