Job summary

Lean Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own core ledger and billing systems for the Lean infrastructure in the UAE. You will drive critical integrations, ensure live revenue reliability, and shape scalable solutions across payments, data access, and onboarding flows.

The role requires leadership in design, secure coding, and proactive mentorship, with a focus on regulated fintech environments and rapid delivery. Join us as we scale across MENA.

Qualifications

• Strong backend engineering in Java and Spring Boot with REST APIs.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures in production.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Redis data stores; build/delivery tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain core ledger functionality underpinning regulatory use cases.
• Own the billing system end-to-end, ensuring reliability and evolution.
• Deliver Mal integration with direct revenue implications.
• Support payouts infrastructure, incident response, and SLA adherence.
• Improve stability, performance, and scalability across the domain.
• Provide design-level code reviews and write technical specifications.
